康耀明是固沙林场职工，乌龙正在带领团队进行一项新的固沙科学研究项目。康耀明的女朋友林岚到林场找康耀明，乌龙要他辞职到她父亲的房产公司上班。林岚在林场的所见所闻让她对林场有了全新的认识，特别是老林场人的故事给她强烈的震撼。最终，她选择了到林场工作。
